We caught a whiff of something not-so-pleasant floating around our beloved Saint Petersburg community
We started from Fur Fins & Feathers Pet Care, Then we started to noticed something, specifically the frustration we saw our community experiencing in the many dog friendly buildings and establishments in the city we call home. Never mind our own frustrations regarding the time it took to clean our own outdoor spaces and pet care equipment. So, after a good bit of trial and error (in our own yards & very patient clients of our Pet Care sister company), we finally figured out the best method! From day on, we knew that it could change the lives not only our Fur Fins & Feathers clients but our community as a whole!
So there you have it, Poop! There is Goes! was born. Well, that and a secret love for 90's jock-jams.
Since starting our pet care journey, we have grown from a little boutique company caring for pets when their families are away to a second sister company to protect pets, families, and our community from communicable diseases. That's enough to fill 22 standard bathtubs each day, a truly mind-boggling amount.
Yet, here's the scoop (pun intended): surveys reveal that a staggering 40% of pet owners don't pick up after their furry friends. So, picture this: around 26,400 pounds of uncollected dog waste is left to linger, each day! And here's the kicker – just a single ounce of dog waste contains a staggering 23 million microorganisms of bacteria, twice the amount found in human waste. Talk about a not-so-cute surprise!
But fear not – there's hope on the horizon. Thanks to advancements in lab testing, authorities can now trace bacteria in water back to its canine origins. This breakthrough allows Pinellas Watershed Management to tackle the root of the problem head-on.

Fortunately, we all hold the power to make a difference, whether pet owners or not.
